Medley House, Cowling
Our first underground house. Built on the site of a redundant reservoir, this zero net carbon home brings into play a number of innovative technologies, from an unusual concrete basin construction to a gravity-fed water-source heating system.
The building will be almost invisible form the nearby road but will take advantage of the views across local countryside.
Medley House is a real triumph for our team and is testament to a forward-thinking local planning authority as well as our creative clients.
