planetarchitecture is dedicated to producing beautiful buildings which do not cost the Earth. This is meant figuratively and literally - we believe we have a moral responsibility to design in the most economical manner possible. This translates as an environmental conscience and a respect for the budget.

As designers we are naturally drawn to beauty and to objects that have an inherent quality which is often difficult to define - An appreciation shared by many. Unfortunately this tendency to capture the beautiful can, if unchecked, lead to consumerism and ornament.

The staff at planetarchitecture are only human and cannot resist the temptation of the beautiful any more than anyone else. However, we are aware that each object, be it a pencil, a car or a house, has a carbon footprint and with this in mind we continue to prescribe only the most carefully considered materials and purity of design in each of our projects. This means each of our clients can expect a holistic design approach leading to an inherently beautiful product, safe in the knowledge the effect on the ecology of the Earth has been minimized - there is a carbon footprint to every pound you earn and spend.

If, in the meantime, we weaken and obtain a beautiful object we will work even harder to offset our indulgence in our future work.
